Along The Railroads

Exploring the many streets of London, I came across this old building that was along the eastern railroads that coast through town and onto many other places. In an empty parking lot, was this narrow property with shattered glass and barred down windows, with waste everywhere and a blocked off entryway. It does not look like much but there is beauty behind every decay. For instance, it appeared like an old railroad passing, or corner store which made me think back to when it would have been open, and still had a purpose. Everyplace has its background and if you really examine, you can tell that it is not a new building, the windows have all been broken and 'repaired' in different places probably all separate occurrences, the garbage can in the garden with a horrendous amount of litter around it and the straggly vines that go where they please, all captures the eye. As announced in an article about decay, nobody ever really questions the beauty behind it, as everyone can automatically feel the mysterious vibes or energy that come along with it (Beauty, 2011). It allows our imagination to be free and explore any possibilities that come to mind, when seeing an abandoned, beaten down building or even an image of something suspicious.
